The Polygon zkEVM does not involve a mapping process. The mapping done as automatic procedure that takes place on the Polygon zkEVM whenever a token is initially bridged to the network.
No explicit mapping steps are required, as the system manages this process seamlessly during the initial bridging of the token to the Polygon zkEVM.
