How to Add the Polygon Amoy Testnet to Your Wallet

You can add the Amoy testnet to your wallet using any of the methods below.

Method 1: Add Manually

To add the Amoy network to your wallet, you will need to enter the following details in the Add Network tab in any of your decentralized wallets, such as Metamask.

• Network Name: Polygon Amoy Testnet

• RPC URL: See our full list of available RPC endpoints here and choose one that suits your needs

• Chain ID: 80002

• Currency Symbol: POL

• Block Explorer URL: https://amoy.polygonscan.com/

Note: Please refer to our RPC Endpoints documentation to pick the endpoint that works best for you.

Method 2: Add via Polygon Portal

• Go to Polygon Portal.

• Connect your wallet.

• Select Amoy Testnet from the network switcher.

• Approve the "Add Network" / "Switch Network" prompt that appears in your wallet — the network details will be added automatically.

Method 3: Add via Polygonscan

• Go to the Amoy Polygonscan block explorer.

• Scroll to the bottom of the page.

• Click the "Add Polygon Amoy Network" button (next to the MetaMask logo) in the footer.

• Confirm the prompt in your wallet to add the network automatically.
