Question:
Can multiple different people deposit into the same pay-in instruction and have us receive an individual webhook for each deposit?
Example: we generate a deposit address/instruction for our client Eric. His friends Marcos and João each transfer from their own banks to that instruction. Do both transfers arrive and get reported individually to us? Or does the sender's identity need to match a pre-registered account?
Answer:
Yes. Deposit instructions belong to the onboarded account holder's named VA, and any third party can push funds to it via ACH / Fedwire / SWIFT. Each inbound payment fires its own individual webhook carrying the originator details from the payment message.
For a VA, senders do not need to be pre-registered or identity-matched to the account holder; all inbound flows are screened (AML/sanctions; TRM Labs on-chain).
For a DA, any blockchain address can be used to send USDC/T into the DA, however pre-registration IS required, and we need to know for each blockchain counterparty the wallet holder's name, address, and custodian.
