When we receive a payment, do we receive the information of the payers and the receivers? Which is the info received?
Answer:
Yes. Inbound: originator name, account/routing as carried in the payment message, rail, amount, reference/memo, and timestamps. Outbound: full beneficiary details are held on the payout object and echoed in status webhooks.
All of these fields are consistently available for Wire and SWIFT, but many ACH transactions do not include the originator’s name.
