When using Ethereum -> Polygon the FxPortal as a user they pay a gas fee in ETH, however there is no MATIC gas fee in the testnet. Is this the same case in the Polygon Mainnet? When using Ethereum -> Polygon FxPotal is there is no MATIC gas fee to user? When using fxPortal to send mesage from Ethereum to Polygon, is there any way to check the executor's transaction log(especially, when the transation is failed on executor side) and the message status that deliveried from Ethereum to Polygon? like polygonscan. We are using Alchemy endpoint, but there is a request limit per second, so it seems that the limit will be reached when batch minting is performed on our backend. Could the polygon side provide an endpoint with a high request limit per second that can be provided to the developer?
Yes, this is the same case in the Polygon Mainnet. There is no MATIC gas fee when using Ethereum -> Polygon FxPortal. This is because the MATIC token is used to pay for gas fees on the Polygon network, but when using Ethereum to pay for gas fees, it is not necessary to pay a MATIC fee because when using Ethereum -> Polygon FxPortal you are interacting with the Ethereum chain and the transactions are being executed in the Ethereum chain and for the execution on Polygon side the FxPortal abstract those so that you need to only worry about paying the gas fee on Ethereum chain.
Yes, you can check the executor's transaction log and message status delivered from Ethereum to Polygon using the Polygon Scan. This tool allows you to monitor your transactions and check their status, including any errors or issues that may have occurred during the transaction.
If you are facing a request limit per second with the Alchemy endpoint, we can assist you in finding a solution. we may be able to provide you with an endpoint with a higher request limit per second or offer alternative solutions to meet your batch minting needs. Kindly let us know your batch minting needs and requirements so that we can come up with a solution for you.
