The MRC20 contract {which is the Matic Token Contract} is from the time of the genesis Matic chain.
However, after the Berlin Fork, the gas costs required to transfer native tokens to contract addresses has increased.
Due to this, on the Polygon PoS chain, the corresponding child transactions of the Matic token deposits to contract addresses might revert with an out of gas error.
Since these contracts aren't upgradable without a hardfork, this problem unfortunately will continue to exist.
